New Information on Inspection Visits to France

With France being so close to the UK, access via the ferry ports are a great way for you to visit independently or with the low cost airlines flying in to most of the airports throughout France. Of course, like Spain and Portugal, you can arrange a guided inspection visit where you will be able to meet up with the park expert and enjoy a 2 day, 3 night tour of the leisure home park and area, offering you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish whilst you enjoy a relaxing personalised tour.

Probably the best way to view one of our parks is to give it your undivided attention with a 3-day / 2-night visit. In this time you'll have plenty of time to view the park (more than once if you wish) and get a feel for the local area and it's attractions. You'll have time with us to discuss all aspect of ownership in detail without any pressure. You should also have time to meet the park's owners and management as well as existing owners.

Your visit would commence with being met either at a local airport or, if you've travelled by car, a convenient meeting point. Depending on the time, we will either visit the park or check into a local hotel which we will have booked for you. Wherever possible the hotel will be in a nearby town to give you chance to explore in the evenings. During the first evening we'll discuss what you'd like to see and sketch out a rough timetable, although as we don't do group visits this can be changed to suit your needs. A visit to the park and nearby villages and attractions will help you decide if the park and the area is for you.

Our charge of £69 per person includes hotel accommodation for 2 nights (based on 2 sharing) with breakfast. Flights, meals and drinks are not included, but our services are of course free of charge. Should you decide to purchase a new home through us your flight/ferry and visit charge will be refunded up to a total of £500.

As France is so easily accessible by car, many people choose to visit in this way, perhaps combining a few parks into a mini-break or viewing a park as part of a longer holiday. In most of these cases you will have organised your own accommodation and therefore there would be no charge for the visit.

In this case, a visit is organised around the customers' needs. If a brief visit is all that time will allow, we'll give you full directions and make sure someone is there to meet you at the park and show you around. If you need any help with booking your own accommodation, we'll gladly assist.

"My wife and I had taken caravan holidays in France, but decided that we would like to establish a more permanent holiday home. We knew the area we liked, the Vendee, and started the process of finding a suitable location and a property.

We decided on the Aizenay area, located a second hand Willerby Vogue static home for sale in the UK. We were now faced with finding a suitable location and transport to that location. We decided to visit the Outdoor and Camping Exhibition at the NEC.

They negotiated with the owner to take a second hand static home and arranged the transport and instillation on the site. My wife and I can not speak highly enough with regard to the efficient assistance and support we have received from Carefree Lifestyles staff in establishing our French holiday home. "
