"As you will be aware, we have recently purchased through your company (Carefree Lifestyle) a mobile home on the site in Totana. As you claim on your website, it is most definitely a 'gem of a site'.
We are delighted, not just with our home (the Willerby Vogue Mark 4) and the site, but with the excellent service we have received from your company both before and after our purchae. We have been more than impressed with every member of your staff it has been our pleasure to deal with, from the office to our here in Totana.

I know I am not the easiest person to deal with at times, but from my initial enquiry through to completion of our sale, everyone has been absolutely brilliant. All my questions, (and there were many!) Maureen & Louis - La Posada, Mobile Homes in Spain

"Hi our names are Maureen and Louis we came to live in Spain in 2006 but our home was here from February 2005. Originally we were going to stay here for 6 months of the year then go back to England to work for 6 months to finance our next time here. After one year we decided to sell up and move lock stock and barrel to Spain and have never regretted one single moment. With the nearest Village only a 10 minute walk away or the shopping centre a 20 minute drive we are so lucky, especially with the Spanish people they have taken us to their hearts made us so welcome. When we came to view it was an empty field but with the plan to hand and a little imagination we knew this was for us. We watched as everything was built, the homes coming on, the roads laid, lamp-posts placed, everything coming together.

We have a great social life something we did not have in the U.K. because of work commitments. In July we celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary as did our friends and next door neighbours. There was a big party where all were invited including Francisco the owner of the Park where upon he presented both us Ladies with beautiful bouquets. All the Residents attended, also some of our Family. There are so many beautiful places to visit, this is definitely Gods own Country and we have our own little piece of Paradise. We can go to the U.K. to visit Family and Friends quite easily as there are 2 Airports within easy distance, likewise they visit us very often and all agree it is great to be here.

I am going now as the Swimming Pool is calling me."

"We have now enjoyed our new life in Portugal for the past six months at Calico Park in East Algarve. This has been greatly achieved with the help and assistance of Carefree Lifestyle.

We have found that this transition has been very much easier by the staff who have helped us whenever a problem has occurred. mobile home portugal | calico We first had contact with Carefree Lifestyle through Calico Park almost a year ago (in May 2008) when we first visited this area and decided to settle in The Algarve.

From this initial contact Carefree Lifestyle became our agents and liaised between us and Calico Park while we decided on the style of our home and kept in contact with us through the process of the home being ordered and delivered. Our new mobile home was ready for us to move into on 23rd October 2008.

Since moving into our new home we had teething problems which were dealt with promptly and efficiently and even now we are in contact with Carefree Lifestyle and their staff who are continuing to ensure that problems are solved. Without their knowledge and expertise in their business we would not have found our move to Portugal as easy as it has been. As well as moving into our new home we have set up a bookshop in a neighbouring village called Manta Rota.

Looking back on our move to The Algarve, we are definitely pleased that we were given the option of purchasing our home through Carefree Lifestyle and want to thank them for all their help and support that they have given us over the last year. "Hi our names are Eileen & Jim and we live on La Posada. We bought our home three years ago and intended it to be a holiday home for us and our family but after retiring we decided to come and live here permanent.

We came across La Posada while on holiday quite by accident, we asked at reception if we could have a look round and they agreed, we found everyone we spoke to only had positive things to say about the park and we have since found out that they were all true.

Life on the park can be as busy or as relaxed as you want it. The residents often say 'every day is a Sunday only some Sunday's the shops are shut'. The management and staff here are all approachable, friendly and very helpful. Our life in Spain, albeit short is made a lot easier living in a community like La Posada, we have friends on the coast but we prefer to live the lifestyle here on the park.

We have started to learn Spanish and enjoy going to our local village and trying to talk to them which can be daunting but they try to help you through it with a smile on their face."

"In 2006 Ted and I were on Holiday in Benalmadena, two of our Friends were living on La Posada and we arranged to visit them while we were here. When we arrived on the Park we were very impressed with the standard, the facilities and general atmosphere around the Park.

At this time we were considering taking an early retirement, paying off our Mortgage and moving into a Mobile Home, the decision we still had to make was whether it would be in England or Abroad. On our return to England we checked out some of the Mobile Home Parks but they did not compare to La Posada and so decision made. We sold our Bungalow and came back to La Posada; we looked at some of the Homes for sale and found the one just right for us. We have now been living here over Two years.

I have to be completely honest that I did have my reservations, being 55yrs old and not working, I was not sure if I was quite ready for retirement. Ted settled into life immediately, it did however take me longer to adjust, but all I can say now is how did we ever find the time to go to work; I just do not know where our time goes. We really have the best of both worlds, living among an English community but having a lovely Spanish community just outside the Park.

There is always something to do on the Park, For example Swimming, Bowling, Patanque also various evening activities such as Quiz nights, Bingo, Darts competitions etc, also various Social events throughout the year. The same also applies when you are not on the Park; we have some lovely walks locally where the views are amazing. Whenever there are events in the surrounding Villages we are always made to feel so welcome by the local Spanish people.

I am now having Spanish lessons and have a great time when trying to converse with the locals, they love the fact you are trying to have a chat with them (I always call it my Spanglish!!!!!!) In closing all I can add is we have a lovely life here in Spain and have never felt so safe in regard to going out and about in our area. For us they can keep the "Costa's" yes it is nice to go for a visit but this is "True Spain" and long may it be so.

"In December 2008 we became the proud owners of a Willerby New Hampshire out at Calico Park, Portugal.

We originally met Carefree Lifestyle John Robinson back in February 2008 at the Boat and Caravan show and were impressed with his knowledge on the homes and sites available to us!

We arranged site visits and haven't looked back since. Jennifer took us to a couple of sites in Spain and she was very knowledgeable as she has lived out in Spain for a number of years now. We then arranged to go to see a couple of sites in Portugal, this is where we decided to buy and have had no regrets. Every step of the way we have been kept informed of what was happening and we had no worries about calling anyone within Carefree if we had any concerns that we needed to settle our minds.

The after care service through Carefree has also been excellent we had a few niggly points that needed fixing once the home was sited in Portugal and they have been carried out without any bother, even so far as we had a little tear in the one settee and they arranged for us to get a brand new one sent out from England and the removal of the damaged one, at no further cost to us! Brilliant!!

We have since taking over our home been to Portugal 3 times already, and have met some lovely people who are all willing to assist with anything you might need help with especially with moving to somewhere 'foreign'. The locals have also been brilliant and we have had help with arranging to have the decking built, shed built etc from a local lad who Carefree but us in touch with.

If you decide to come to Portugal why not visit us and see what life is like for us! We are planning on having about 7 months out there soon with a view to making it more permanent and we couldn't have asked for anyone better than Carefree Lifestyle in helping us achieve this, We can't praise them enough."

"We have lived in Spain for several years now & really love our life here. We have also managed to get to see many different parts of the country although, only on relatively brief visits.

With this in mind, we decided a couple of years ago that it may be a good idea to get ourselves a small base somewhere, where we could get to spend more time and get to know a different region in more detail.

A mobile home seemed to be the ideal solution, particularly if we could have our little dog with us, and we visited several sites eventually finding Totana where we contacted "Carefree Lifestyle".

What a good move that proved to be.

We were able to find a unit which was exactly what we were looking for at a price which suited us.
The whole transaction was completed in a most helpful, easy and pleasant manner, and in less than one month we had taken possession of our lovely Sun Roller bolt-hole.

It was, however, the after sale treatment for which we are most appreciative. It seems that whatever query or problem we have, it is taken from us, dealt with and resolved in the simplest and most friendly manner. After almost two years, we really haven`t a single regret.

Carefree Lifestyle is the name of the company and, by golly, it seems that every endeavour is made to live up to their name and provide a service which is free from care. The icing on the cake is being able to have our little Westie with us. A lovely company which is genuinely helpful, friendly and understanding of the needs of it`s customers".

"My wife and I had taken caravan holidays in France, but decided that we would like to establish a more permanent holiday home. We knew the area we liked, the Vendee, and started the process of finding a suitable location and a property.

We decided on the Aizenay area, located a second hand Willerby Vogue static home for sale in the UK. We were now faced with finding a suitable location and transport to that location. We decided to visit the Outdoor and Camping Exhibition at the NEC.

There we met the Carefree Lifestyles staff, who turned out to be the answer to all the problems. They introduced us to their site at Mache, which we visited and decided it was the spot.

They negotiated with the owner to take a second hand static home and arranged the transport and instillation on the site. My wife and I can not speak highly enough with regard to the efficient assistance and support we have received from Carefree Lifestyles staff in establishing our French holiday home. "
